System 32 Chapter 2
Elliot woke up the next morning to a text message, she sat up and rubbed her eyes. It was about ten minutes before her and Shawn had to go to school, she sighed.
“I hate Mondays…” She growled. Forgetting about the text, Elliot stood up. She almost tripped over Shawn who lay on the floor in a pile of blankets. She realized she had fallen asleep in Shawn’s bed, during her time here she had been sleeping on the couch. She looked down at Shawn, his hear was even more of a mess, his glasses were off to the side, Shawn always seemed peaceful when he slept. Elliot smiled for a moment but wondered why Shawn hadn’t told her to move, had it have been anyone else he would have just told them to beat it, but Shawn didn’t. He always seemed to be kinder to Elliot than anyone else.
She watched him sleep for a few more minutes before going to the bathroom to shower. She changed into a lilac blouse and blue jeans, when she returned to Shawn
The Lucky Ten Chapter 1 Snow fell to the ground in light flurries, coating the ground in a beautiful, sparkling sheet. Fourteen years old, Rowena Lyle watched in awe from her window. Wishing she could run out and enjoy it. She closed her eyes and imagined it, running out in the snow, letting the white flake sprinkle on her red-brown hair, her cheeks turning red from the cold winter air.
Rowena let out a sigh, unfortunately she couldn’t leave. Not yet anyway, not until three when everyone’s doors were open, then she would run out and enjoy the snow. It was such a rare sight to see snow nowadays, Rowena has seen pictures of beautiful landscapes covered in ice, frost and snow and she would give anything to see more!
She found it difficult to peel her eyes from the beautiful sight before her, she hoped the snow would last through tomorrow, it would be the best gift ever. When Rowena heard her mother call her name, sighing she pulled herself away from the window

Across the room sat another person, he wore a headset and had his eyes glued to a computer monitor. He looked over at her and laughed. “Yeah, sorry about that.”
Elliot rolled her eyes as the chaos died down. “You've been playing that game for hours, how can you possibly sit that long?”
Shawn grinned, keeping his focus on the screen. “I’m a cheetah. They can stay in the same position for hours.”
Elliot couldn't help but laugh at her best friend. “Well when you’re done being a cheetah can we do something? I’m so bored.” She glanced down at the page of doodles she had been working on while Shawn played World of Warcraft .
“Sure thing just—Oh, crap!” He crie
